The senator also pointed out that kidnappings and jailbreaks possible linked to terror activities were recently monitored in other Mindanao provinces like Zamboanga and Sulu.

Duterte has called for a special joint session of Congress to consider the extension of martial rule for another 60 days.
"I don't see a problem with it being passed, provided we are properly appraised. And we are going to be appraised of that tomorrow by the Defense people, as well as the military people," Gordon said.
